Cranger Sprocket was born from a challenge we set for ourselves:
“Design a BMX sprocket without thinking of it as a BMX sprocket.”
Sounds strange, right? But that’s exactly how Cranger came to life. We’re total motorheads and car lovers, so finding inspiration from a car rim to design a BMX sprocket wasn’t difficult.
Still, we had to adapt that rim design to fit a BMX sprocket, keeping in mind the space, the teeth, the simplicity we aimed for, and the uniformity it needed to have. We had to simplify everything as much as possible and slow down creativity a bit, considering several factors:

Strength: The design had to withstand maximum force.

Durability: Wear and tear on this drivetrain component was critical.
The result is Cranger: a BMX sprocket where automotive passion meets precise engineering, strength, and a truly unique design.
